Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan today attended the Fisheries Outreach Programme at Agatti, Lakshadweep, and released “Mission Rangeen Machhli 2031”, the Strategic Action Plan for Ornamental Fisheries Development. He also distributed various government benefits and assistance to beneficiaries from the fisheries sector.
Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan graced the Fisheries Outreach Programme at Agatti, Lakshadweep, and released “Mission Rangeen Machhli 2031”, the Strategic Action Plan for Ornamental Fisheries Development today.
The programme was attended by Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh; Administrator of Lakshadweep Shri Praful K. Patel; Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel; and Secretary, Department of Fisheries, Dr. Abhilaksh Likhi, among others.
Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Agatti, Lakshadweep, on his maiden visit to the Lakshadweep Islands today.
He was warmly received by Shri Praful K. Patel, Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, and was also accorded a Guard of Honour on arrival.
