VW cuts 2030 China sales target, executive tells Handelsblatt

FRANKFURT, April 23 (Reuters) – Volkswagen has lowered ​its mid-term ‌sales volume goal for China, ​the ​company’s China chief Ralf ⁠Brandstaetter was ​quoted as ​saying by Handelsblatt on Thursday.
The carmaker ​now expects ​to sell up to ‌3.2 ⁠million vehicles in China by 2030, ​compared ​with ⁠a previous target ​of up ​to ⁠4 million cars, the ⁠newspaper ​reported.
