Under PMGSY-IV (Batch–1, FY 2026-27), the Ministry has approved 45 road works (509.54 km) with a total estimated cost of ₹710.40 crore. These projects will provide all-weather road connectivity to 48 habitations for the first time. The provision of road connectivity will enable these habitations to access essential services such as schools, hospitals, and rural markets, thereby contributing significantly to the social and economic development of the people living in these areas. This will also support the Government’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

In addition to the above approvals, as on date, a total of 367 road works (4,935 km) and 07 bridges, with cost of Rs. 3,412 crore, have already been sanctioned to the State under PMGSY.
