Department of Posts encourages customers to avail its 24 SPEED POST and 48 SPEED POST services for secure and time-bound delivery of Rakhi
Raksha Bandhan (Rakhi Festival) will be celebrated on 28.08.2026 this year. To facilitate the timely delivery of Rakhi consignments, the Department of Posts has made special arrangements for posting of Rakhi Mails up to 22.08.2026 in the below mentioned Post Offices. Special Rakhi Mail booking counters will be set up at 34 major Post Offices in Delhi, as well as at Delhi Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station, during this period to ensure smooth and convenient posting of Rakhi articles.
To avoid last minute rush, customers are advised to post Rakhi in below mentioned Post Offices well in time.
