BEIJING, April 29 (Reuters) – Chinese airlines and Boeing (BA.N), have been severely impacted by U.S.-imposed tariffs, disrupting regular trade and investment activities of many businesses, the Chinese commerce ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The ministry’s remarks came in response to media reports that Boeing had flown back three 737 MAX planes slated for delivery to Chinese airlines.
The statement expressed hope that the United States would heed the concerns of businesses and foster a stable and predictable environment for trade and investment activities.
