South Africa’s Eskom annual net profit more than doubles to 30.3 billion rand

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 31 (Reuters) – South ​Africa’s state power ‌utility Eskom on ​Monday ​reported a profit ⁠after ​tax of ​30.3 billion rand ($1.88 billion) for ​the ​year ended March ‌2026, ⁠more than double its restated ​profit ​of ⁠14.0 billion ​rand a ​year ⁠earlier.
