Aug 11 (Reuters) – European broadcaster RTL Group on Tuesday raised its full-year revenue forecast after the acquisition of ‌Sky Deutschland in June increased the group’s revenue base.RTL said it now expects 2026 revenue of €7.1 to €7.2 billion, ($8.20 billion-$8.32 billion) up from its previous forecast of €6.1 billion to €6.2 billion issued in March. The group maintained guidance for adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization of around €725 million. The TV and streaming group said first-half revenue rose nearly 4% to €2.9 billion, although organic revenue ‌was flat.Adjusted EBITA came in at €239 million in the January-June period, up almost 50% from €160 million a year ago.Sky Deutschland, consolidated from June, contributed adjusted EBITDA of €61 million, though RTL said the figure was inflated by the absence of Bundesliga production and licensing costs and expects the business to be broadly break-even this year.
