South Korea may ban foreign banks arranging global bond deals, Bloomberg News reports

Oct 8 (Reuters) – South Korea is ​considering regulations ‌to prohibit investment ​banks without ​domestic securities licenses ⁠from ​seeking to ​arrange overseas bond sales of ​local ​issuers, Bloomberg News reported ‌on ⁠Wednesday citing people familiar ​with ​the ⁠matter.

Reuters could not ​immediately ​verify ⁠the report.
