Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting that true freedom lies in liberating individuals from fear and subordination, enabling them to live with confidence and dignity.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“यावदस्यास्वतन्त्रत्वं तावदीश्वरतो भयम्।
य एतत्समुपासीरंस्ते मुह्यन्ति शुचार्पिताः॥”  

As long as a person does not see themselves as independent, they live in fear of a power greater than their own. Those who embrace this belief remain trapped in fear, sorrow, and delusion. The true value of freedom lies in liberating individuals from fear and subordination, enabling them to live with confidence and dignity.
