TUI is flying customers out of Middle East from today, CEO says

FRANKFURT, March 3 (Reuters) – German tourism group TUI will ​begin on Tuesday ‌to offer flights back home to customers who ​stranded in the ​Middle East because of ⁠the military conflict ​there, its CEO told ​broadcaster NTV.
Sebastian Ebel said TUI was working with ​airlines Etihad, Emirates ​and Qatar Airways, adding that ‌across ⁠all tour operators, about 30,000 German tourists were stranded in ​the region, ​including ⁠about 10,000 of TUI’s.
“We expect ​to carry out ​the ⁠first flights today with these companies to ⁠return ​our guests,” ​said Ebel.
