US, Russian teams met in Florida and discussed ‘variety of topics,’ Witkoff says

(Reuters) – A Russian ‌delegation led by President Vladimir Putin’s special ​envoy Kirill ​Dmitriev met a U.S. delegation ⁠in Florida ​on Wednesday, U.S. special ​envoy Steve Witkoff said, adding that the teams ​discussed a “variety of ​topics” and agreed to stay ‌in ⁠touch.
Dmitriev, posting on the X social media platform, thanked ​the ​meeting’s ⁠hosts, Witkoff, Jared Kushner, who ​is U.S. President ​Donald ⁠Trump’s son-in-law, and White House adviser ⁠Josh ​Gruenbaum, for ​a “productive” meeting.
