Nov 28 (Reuters) – British pub and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butlers beat annual profit expectations on Friday, helped by robust demand for food and drinks and tighter cost control.
The company posted an adjusted pretax profit of 246 million pounds ($325.06 million) for the 52 weeks ended September 27, while analysts were expecting 237.54 million pounds, according to LSEG data.
