MADRID, Feb 25 (Reuters) – Spanish airport operator Aena’s full-year net profit rose 10.5% in 2025, it said on Wednesday, beating analysts’ expectations after the number of passengers travelling through all its terminals last year surpassed one million per day.
In Spain – the world’s second most-visited country – traffic at Aena’s airports reached 321.6 million passengers, a third consecutive annual record that helped the company post a net profit of 2.13 billion euros ($2.51 billion) last year.
Analysts in an LSEG survey had on average forecast a net profit of 2 billion euros.
