(Reuters) – Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed on Monday with U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in Washington D.C. ways to bolster defence cooperation and regional and international developments, the kingdom’s minister said on Tuesday in a post on social media website X.
The visit follows Saudi Arabia, a major U.S. ally, recently hosting high-level U.S. and Russian officials to discuss the war in Ukraine and restoring broader Russia-U.S. ties.
