Punjab National Bank (PNB), in dynamic partnership with the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), conducted a successful DLC Campaign 4.0 event on November 7, 2025, at its Sansad Marg Branch, New Delhi. This event forms part of the ongoing nationwide drive to facilitate easier access to Digital Life Certificate generation for central government pensioners, affirming government and banking sector commitment to digital inclusion and senior citizen welfare.
Distinguished Presence
The campaign was honored by the presence of Shri V Srinivas, Secretary, DoPPW, who personally interacted with pensioners and staff, reaffirming the government’s resolve to provide tech-enabled, citizen-friendly services. He was joined by Shri Dhrubajyoti Sengupta, Joint Secretary, DoPPW, and Shri Abhishek Kumar Singh, Deputy Director General, UIDAI. Their participation underscored the strong interdepartmental cooperation central to the success of the campaign. From PNB, Dr. Rajesh Prasad, Chief General Manager, and Smt. R Pushpalatha, General Manager, led the Bank’s efforts, alongside directors from DoPPW and UIDAI who ensured smooth conduct of the camp and direct benefits to participants.
Campaign Highlights
The Sansad Marg Branch was abuzz with activity as pensioners were provided on-the-spot assistance for Aadhaar authentication and seamless generation of Digital Life Certificates using advanced biometric and digital tools. PNB staff, trained for this initiative, guided attendees through the process and resolved queries, making the experience efficient and dignified.
Senior citizens were warmly felicitated by the Punjab National Bank team and dignitaries from DoPPW and UIDAI, celebrating their contribution to the nation and underscoring PNB’s commitment to their well-being. These interactive moments, captured in the attached images, showcased emotional connections and emphasized the humane aspect of digital transformation.
Technological Advancements
Through the DLC Campaign 4.0, PNB and its partners demonstrated the robust use of digital infrastructure—such as Aadhaar-enabled biometric authentication—further simplifying a process that once required multiple visits and paperwork. This initiative is part of a larger vision to empower pensioners, reduce inconvenience, and ensure every pensioner, even those unfamiliar with technology, can exercise their rights securely and conveniently.
