NEW DELHI, July 20 (Reuters) – India’s youth-led ‘cockroach movement’ said on Monday ​that its founder Abhijeet ‌Dipke was “picked up” by police as two other leaders ​held talks with Health ​Minister J.P. Nadda amid protests ⁠demanding the resignation of ​the education minister.
“While we submit ​a written letter…he (Nadda) has assured us that he will meanwhile ​speak internally. We are ​in that process,” chief spokesperson Saurav ‌Das ⁠said on X after meeting the minister for “10 minutes”.
The talks were held as ​thousands of ​supporters ⁠attempted to march on parliament demanding the ​resignation of Education ​Minister ⁠Dharmendra Pradhan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over medical ⁠college ​entrance test paper ​leaks.
