IMF approves nearly $350 million of funding for Congo

June 27 (Reuters) – The International Monetary Fund ​said on Friday ‌it approved about $348.5 million in funding ​for the ​Democratic Republic of Congo ⁠after completing ​reviews of programs ​under its Extended Credit Facility and Resilience ​and Sustainability ​Facility.
The third review of the ‌ECF-supported ⁠program unlocks about $258.2 million, while the second ​review ​under ⁠the RSF allows for a ​disbursement of ​about $90.3 ⁠million, the IMF said.
