Germany’s Nordex posts strong first-quarter earnings on wind power demand

April 27 (Reuters) – Onshore wind turbine manufacturer ​Nordex reported better-than-expected ‌core earnings for the first quarter ​of 2026 ​on Monday, citing ⁠continued demand in ​its core ​markets.
The German company reported quarterly earnings before ​interest, taxes, ​depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of ‌131 ⁠million euros ($154 million), compared with a company-provided analysts’ ​consensus ​of ⁠112 million euros and ​a year-ago ​result ⁠of 79.6 million euros.
