Alstom wins 2 billion euro deal from New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority

July 4 (Reuters) – French train maker Alstom (ALSO.PA), said on Friday it had received a 2 billion euro ($2.4 billion) order from the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority to supply M-9A rail cars for the Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad.
The contract will be booked in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025/26, Alstom said.
