India’s Jio Financial Services jumps after quarterly profit surges

July 17 (Reuters) – Shares of India’s ​Jio Financial ‌Services (JIOF.NS), jumped 5.1% on Friday ​after ​the non-bank lender ⁠reported a ​surge in ​quarterly profit on broad-based growth across ​its ​businesses.
The stock was trading ‌at ⁠248.65 rupees, its highest since May, ​and ​was ⁠the top ​gainer on ​the ⁠benchmark Nifty 50 (.NSEI).
