India collects 2.43 trillion rupees in goods and services tax in April

NEW DELHI, May 1 (Reuters) – India collected ‌2.43 trillion rupees ($25.61 ​billion) ​in goods and ⁠services ​tax in ​April, a rise of ​8.7% ​from last year, ‌the ⁠government said in a ​statement ​on ⁠Friday.
