MPS chief considering Generali stake sale, FT reports

April 24 (Reuters) – Monte dei Paschi ​di Siena ‌chief Luigi Lovaglio ​is ​considering selling a 7.4-billion-euro ($8.64 ⁠billion) ​stake in ​Generali to help fund an ​acquisition ​of Banco BPM  ‌the ⁠Financial Times reported on Friday.
Reuters ​could ​not ⁠immediately verify ​the report.
