German inflation confirmed at 2.8% in March

FRANKFURT, April 10 (Reuters) – German inflation ​accelerated to ‌2.8% in March, according ​to federal ​statistics office data ⁠released ​on Friday, confirming preliminary ​figures.
In February, inflation, or the ​gain ​in consumer prices harmonised ‌to ⁠compare with other European Union ​countries, was ​reported ⁠at 2.0% year-on-year.
The ​office publishes ​more ⁠detailed inflation data on ⁠its ​website.
