Assassin of Japan’s former PM Abe appeals life sentence, Kyodo reports

TOKYO, Feb 4 (Reuters) – Tetsuya Yamagami, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for fatally shooting former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, has appealed the ruling, Kyodo news agency reported on Wednesday.
