Samsung Elec shares rise more than 3% after investment pledge

SEOUL, Nov 17 (Reuters) – Shares of Samsung Electronics gained more than 3% at the market opening on Monday after the company pledged to invest 450 trillion won ($310.14 billion) in the country and add a chip production line in city of Pyeongtaek.
