STOCKHOLM, Oct 30 (Reuters) – Home appliances maker Electrolux reported a slightly bigger operating profit than expected for the third quarter on Thursday and said sales growth was mainly driven by North America, where it maintained its market outlook.
Operating profit at the Swedish group, whose brands also include Frigidaire and AEG, more than doubled to 890 million crowns ($94.52 million) in the July-September period from a year-earlier 349 million.
Analysts had on average forecast an operating profit of 875 million crowns, according to a poll provided by Electrolux.
