Oct 30 (Reuters) – Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor’s (7269.T), Indian unit will supply its first electric vehicle to Toyota Motor (7203.T) as part of their global partnership, the two companies said in a statement on Wednesday.
Maruti Suzuki (MRTI.NS), , which is majority-owned by Suzuki Motor, will begin production of the EV from spring 2025 in its plant in the western Indian state of Gujarat.
The EV was jointly developed by Suzuki, Toyota and Daihatsu Motor.
