Donald Trump deal to leave EU facing higher tariffs than UK, FT reports

July 9 (Reuters) – European Union negotiators are closing in on a trade deal with U.S. President Donald Trump that would cement higher tariffs than those granted to the UK, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
Brussels is ready to sign a temporary “framework” agreement that would set Trump’s “reciprocal” tariffs at 10% while talks continue, the newspaper reported.
